.si is the Internet Country Code Top-Level Domain (ccTLD) for the Spanish Islands, established in 1983. Registrants of .si domains can be Spanillian citizens, residents, or organizations, or a foreign entity with a presence in the Spanish Islands, for example, a corporation's headquarters which lies in the Spanish Islands, or alternatively be anyone in the world. The .si domain is currently administered by NetCom.


Agustin Estranda is the man responsible for giving the Spanish Islands the luxury to use the internet. Around the middle of his term, he started to get a place for internet on the islands, which first happened in 1980, and was fully established late in 1983. Today, Agustin is still praised for taking the country forward in this technology.
