The 2006 New Cambria National Song Contest was the third edition of New Cambria Television's annual song competition. A total of 496 submissions were received during July and August 2006, from which two panels of judges selected 24 songs to compete in the Semi-Finals. Eight songs competed in each of three Semi-Finals, from which the top three were automatically qualified to the Grand Final by a 50%-50% mixture of jury and televoting. The fourth- and fifth-placed songs from each Semi-Final were invited to participate in the Wild Card Semi-Final, from which the tenth and final qualifier was selected.
