The 68 Tower (68 タワー, 68 tawā) is a skyscraper located in the Pidatoshi Mirai district of Chiwon city, overlooking the Konggei Bay in Chiwon, Surea. At 251 meters (823.5 ft) high, it is the 3rd tallest building in Chiwon and the 35th tallest building in Surea. 68 refers to the building's 68 official stories, of which 65 are above ground level and 3 are basement floors. Construction was completed in 1977.
The lower floors house a large shopping area with approximately 100 stores, 3 cinemas, and an aquarium. A convention center and banquet hall are also housed within the building. The observation deck (known as the Golden Eye) on the 60th floor is a popular place to go to see a good view of Chiwon City. Special observation elevators are also available; they are equipped with windows to enable their passengers to view the city as they ride up to (or down from) the observation deck.
