The Albertan Missile Crisis was the protests, events, backlash, and controversy around Alberta Missile test 1273. The Canadian government already had nuclear capability, but finally decided to make a bomb. The bomnb was small, but it worked, and the area was de-radiationized with another bomb a while after the government made sure everyone in the town was asleep. The backlash against the test was enourmous, stretching from the capital, Calgary to the northern border city of Churchill.
