The Alliance of Nations (AoN) aims to facilitate cooperation in international law, international security, economic development, nuclear disarmament, human rights, and world peace. The AoN was founded in April 2011 to replace the United Nations, which was disbanded on April 1, 1994.
The Alliance of Nations currently supervises different territories across the globe that face unrest, such as the Yugoslavian Regional Authority, Aceh & Kashmir.
History[]
Census of 1997[]
The Alliance of Nations has its roots in the Census of 1997, conducted by Bavaria on April 1, 1997, the 3rd anniversary of the Nuclear War of 1994. The Bavarians didn't go far, as both Rosenheim, Kempten & the New Munich Empire threatened war upon Bavaria claiming it "wouldn't allow the Bavarian cancer to spread further".
China's Rise (2007-09)[]
Main Article: China
China had survived the events of April 1994, despite the Soviets having invaded Heilongjiang in February. By 1996, China had fragmented into multiple states, including Hong Kong, Macau, Hainan, Tibet, Xinjiang, Sichuan, Manchuria & Beijing. The biggest of these was the United Commonwealth of China (UCC), as the CCP disbanded in January 1996 due to violence & the nuclear winter, that had destroyed harvests. By 2007-09, The UCC's influence had grown, resulting in UCC intervention in the Kagoshima Civil War. So a successor to the UN was likely, and that would happen.
Raiding of the Pearl of Seas[]
On October 21, 2010, Pirates from former Australia attacked the Chinese cargo ship Pearl of Seas off the coast of Brunei. During the 4 days of the crisis, President Li Keqiang tried to demand that the hostages be freed, but the pirates refused. Finally, on October 26, 2010, Chinese & Bruineian Special Forces lead a daring rescue, freeing the hostages and killing the pirates. For the UCC?
This was the last straw.
For too long had China continued to fight the pirates who would keep on threatening their national security.
