Arthur Stretton Pryde (1 Oct 1881 - 7 Mar 1959) was a Georgeland military officer and politician who served as the 3rd President of Georgeland from 1945 to 1949. After serving during the Boer War and World War I, Pryde was appointed as the inaugural Chief of Army on 18 August 1929 after Georgeland became a republic, in which capacity he was responsible for the building of the army from a small reserve unit to a significant fighting force.

Pryde retired from active service in 1937, but his commission was re-activated in 1942 after Georgeland joined the Second World War. He commanded Georgeland forces in Europe from 1942 to 1944, when he returned to Georgeland and declared his candidacy for president. His election as president was unopposed, and as of 2021 he remains the only person to be elected to the office without an opponent.

Pryde served as president from 1945 to 1949 during which time he signed legislation to increase Georgeland's migrant intake and to invest in postwar reconstruction programs. He was personally opposed to the United Nations, and his opposition is one reason Georgeland did not join until 1958.

Pryde honoured a pledge only to serve one term as president, and stood down in 1949. He was succeeded by Jeffrey Caxton.
