City currently under construction. |
The City of Aspiria is a planned and under construction 21st century metropolis being built in southern Yucatan state along the Pacific Ocean coast. To the south west of the city site is the nearly completed Port Arista Naval Station and Arista Air Force Base. The city, when completed in 2040, will be capable of housing several million inhabitants with room to expand to house well over a dozen million people by 2055.
Construction[]
The current construction underway includes tunnels for future subway transit systems, utility lines, pipes and electrical grid, major street routes and the foundations of landmark structures planned to be built at the later time. Because Aspiria is a coastal city, it is being featured with a tidal defense sea wall to protect the city from tsunamis and hurricanes. Several major routes have undergone restoration to expand the former Mexican route 200 into an eight lane interstate highway renamed I-740. Additional new freeways have been constructed linking Aspiria to the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez to the north, and then Tuxtla Gutiérrez further north to the city of Villahermosa. An international airport is planned to be conjoined to Arista Air Force Base. As of 2020, residential areas of middle-range and high-end condo and apartment complexes, and outer suburban neighborhoods have taken shape, with the city holding a population of 110,000 residents.
Infrastructure[]
The city center will be the most densely populated and high traffic area of the city, containing all of the tallest office structures, economic centers and several shopping and commercial locations. Several skyscrapers are planned for the city center. A subway system is planned, as well as an elevated monorail train system.
Landmarks[]
Arista Center Spire will be the most prominent of all structures within the city. It will rise to nearly 3,000 feet when completed, out sizing Liberty Tower in overall interior space and the Burj Khalifa (Dubai) in height. Arista will rise a total structural height of 2,876 feet tall with a center spire rising to 3,150 feet.
[]
Port Arista Naval Station is a naval base for the Union of Everett Navy located southwest of Aspiria along the La Joya Bay. It contains a large depot and harbor for the Everetti Pacific fleet, dividing up military craft from Hawaii's overcrowded Pearl Harbor base. Port Arista will contain nearly 7,000 naval personnel, all of which who will live in Aspiria, in addition to 20,000 Marines troops.
Tourism[]
Aspiria will be home to a long strip of beaches, harbors, marinas and a pier-based amusement park. It will also be a stop for Pacific cruise lines. The city will also feature a large soccer stadium and convention center.
