The World of Lorica[]

Though our universe holds billions upon billions of stars, and far more planets, the planet of Lorica holds special significance for the Lorican side of the human race just as Earth does for the Terran side of the human race. At 1.213 gigadita in circumference, Lorica is a notably smaller planet than Earth is. Aside from the land masses, from space it looks a lot like Earth does. 82% of the planet is covered by water.

The Settlements of Lorica[]

By near modern times the total population of Lorica has already reached over a hundred million, even though it is tiny compared to that of Earth's population at the same time. The map below shows the larger settlements of modern-day Lorica. Around 1500 AD., the total population is only a few million. A cataclysmic event demolished the southeastern portion of the continent of Origina and reduced it to desert.
