Confessors' Association[]
The Confessors' Association or CA investigates instances of leaked secrets, since leaked secrets are of concern to all the guilds. Its members, called confessors, are brought in after a suppression incident (such as of a sect that has stolen a guild's secrets) to interrogate those who have used secret spells. Their objective is to find out whether a secret was discovered by the outsider (very difficult, almost never the case!) or if it got leaked to them somehow. If the latter, they are further charged to find out who leaked it, thereby uprooting all the secretstealers and spymasters. Usually when the Confessors' Association investigates an incident, it is usually because the Interguild Investigative Association has already found enough evidence to condemn them.
