Alzes Crater, also called the Alzes Sea by some and the Burog by the Orcs, is the central feature and a region of Ginaetr. Although it is considered a crater, the majority of the region is flooded with saltwater. The remainder of the region is a small island.
Etymology[]
The remaining Alemnii named the region the Alzes Crater after Lord Alzeschar of the Koniim Empire and his city, Alzesnaar which one stood at the heart of the crater. The Orcs call the region Burog, meaning Hole of the Earth in Irsin.
Geography[]
Most of the region, save for a central island, is a shallow sea. The sea is connected to the ocean through various canyons. Access to the region from the heartland of Ginaetr is restricted by the rather steep cliff walls that outline the region. Most travelers into the region arrive via the Gervosh Canyon to the south east or through the strait to the east.
