For the purposes of local government, New Cambria is divided into nine counties and 65 municipalities. The most populous of which is Arvant in St. George's County. In the table below, a municipality highlighted blue indicates a county town. Over one-half (52.2%) of the population lives in the nine most-populous municipalities, and less than one tenth (9.5%) of the population lives in the 28 least-populous ones.
