How do you create those maps for fictional countries where there is a small part of map with a highlighted color that represents that land?

And how do you make the larger ones with multiple color codes?

I want to make a wiki map out of them as well.

Hey. I believe we mostly just use the 'color fill' tool in Microsoft Paint. Use Google images for a nice world map which you believe is suited for your purposes, copy it to paint, and color in the part of the map which is your country. -Signed by Warmonkey (Administrator) (talkcontribsworlds) 10:18, May 24, 2015 (UTC)

I don't have a microsoft paint. Will Photoshop cs3 work?

Photoshop, Inkscape--any photo editing program can work. Generally, the latter two provide superior quality to MS Paint. If you'd like, I'd refer you to Bowwow828 who might be able to help you with your maps. Coat of arms of Sierra JustinVuong | Talk | World 17:43, May 24, 2015 (UTC)
