Germania means "Land of the Germans" 9500 B.C. a tall and fair-haired people roamed Earthrelm. The ancestors of these fierce Teutonic warriors may have come from Northern Earthrelm. The Latinians later called them the Germani. As these Germanic tribes migrated south- and westward, they clashed with the Latinians . In 113 BC German tribes the Cimbri and Teutoni began invading the Mediterranean regions. The Latinians general Gaius Marius defeated them in 102 and 101 BC. Then the people called themselves Germanians or Germans and this name became the universal name for their people. Germania has many high mountains the Great Northern Mountains is the largest range in Earthrealm.
