Ingria (Ingrian: Ingrii), officially the Ingrian Republic, is a country in the Baltic region of the Northern Europe. It borders with Estonia to the south and Russia to the east, and by a maritime border with Finland. Ingria has 1,673,690 inhabitants and an area of 35,711 km² (13,788 sq mi).

Geography

Ingria's land border with Estonia runs 106 km whilst the Russian border runs 300 km. It shares a maritime border with Finland as well.

Ingria is located on the Ingrian Peninsula which juts 180 km into the sea, dividing the larger Gulf of Finland into two smaller ones: Owl Bay to the north and Bay of Ingria to the south.

Ingria is located between 59.12° N and 61.07° N and 24.12° E and 28.59° E.
