Islands County is one of the eight counties of New Cambria. It consists of five smaller islands located off the northern coast of New Cambria Island: Cavit Island, Bainbridge Island, Alaric Island, Sainte Claire Island and Wall Island. The county was created as part of the 2011 New Cambria local government reform, from the consolidation of the former countries of Cavit Island and the Outer Islands. The population of Islands County is approximately 117,627, ranking 9th out of the 22 new municipalities of New Cambria.
Following the municipal reforms, Islands County is unique in that it is the only county with exactly one municipality. That is, the boundaries of the Islands Municipality are coterminous with those of Islands County.
