Marushi Ryongko (鈴宮勝志 Ryongkō Marushi, born April 6th, 1955) is a Surean politician who has been the President of Surea since March 2009. Prior to his presidency, he was a director of Ryongko Heavy Industries, and the mayor of Konggei.
Early Life and Education[]
Marushi Ryongko was born on April 6th, 1955 in Tsukuzawa, Chiwon, and soon moved to Konggei. He attended Gobei primary school and Fifth high school. He studied political science at Konggei Science University, graduating in 1976. He later moved to Hong Kong and studied MBA and possibly political science at the University of Hong Kong. In April 1981, Ryongko began working at his father's company, Ryongko Heavy Industries. He left the company in 1990 and pursued a number of governmental positions including executive assistant to the Minister of Personnel, private secretary to the chairperson of the SDP General Council, and private secretary to the SDP secretary-general.
