Currency in Mercia is controlled accordingly. There are five main systems in use, with a few minor systems that are also included. The banks in use are controlled mainly by leprachauns who are known to be good at handling with gold.

The Adrian Ox[]

Translated into English terms, the currency used in nearly all human countries is the Adrian Ox. It was a simple system to easily figure out how much an exchange was. Before the inflation and rapid deflation of the Ox a number fo tiems in history, the Ox originally was worth an exchange for an actual Ox, along with the other coins.


There are 80 Wheats in a Pig, and 8 Pigs in an Ox. These are the three main parts of the currency, where there are 1 Wheat coins, 2 Wheat Coins, 4 Wheat Coins, 8 Wheat Coins and so on (this does obey the octimal system in use by the Hadri). The normal increasing amount is 1, 2, 4, 10 (in octimal terms). The coins used for these have pictures depictign old coisn that had different worths but are no longer in use.

Wheat Coin was equivalent to one pound of wheat. It had the symbol of wheat on it.

Corn Coin was equivalent to one pound of corn but is now worth two wheat coins. It had the symbol of corn on it.

Chicken Coin was equivalent to a chicken but is now worth four wheat coins. It had a chicken on it.

Goat Coin was equivalent to one goat but is now worth eight wheat coins. It had a goat on it.

Sheep Coin was equivalent to three sheep but is now worth sixteen wheat coins. It had a sheep on it.

Dog Coin was equivalent to a sheepdog but is now worth only thirty-two wheat coins. It had a dog on it.

Pig Coin was equivalent to a pig but is now worth sixty-four wheat coins. It had a pig on it.

Cattle Coin was equivalent to two to three cows but is now worth two pig coins. It had a cow on it.

Horse Coin was equivalent to a horse but is now worth four pigs coins. It had a horse on it.

Ox Coin was equivalent to an Ox, but is now worth eight pig coins.

The pictures no longer represent the current exchange rates for these products, since they have changed over time due to excessive inflation and deflation.


This currency is common in 'Adria, Zana Xi, Vicargo, Inendo, Sol and also in Ystranof. Ikraslov prefers to stay with the Dublin and the Icelands have their Kokarish.


The conversion rate for the English Pound is £0.69(34) to the Pig or £5.55 to the Ox. Although this seems a bit high, a bag of flour usually costs 30wts.

The normal symbol for the currency is wts (Wheats), pgs (Pigs) and X (Oxes). 3X45wts is 3 Oxes and 45 wheats which equals about £5.94.
