Nonproliferation Association[]
The Nonproliferation Association or (NPA) is an association across the various guilds of Lorica. It promotes state of the art methods of keeping secrets from spreading, and promotes awareness of security measures. Within each guild, the association limits access to that guild's high magic spells. The association also helps devise modifications to spells to help keep the secrets used by Wielders from falling into the hands of sects, nations, and other guilds. Thus the association constitutes one of several that help to ensure that none but the guilds ever gain access to the guild secrets.
Some of its associates remain within the guild structure, ensuring that no one within the guild structure steals secrets, and that only a handful know (based on need-to-know). In order to perform this role effectively, its membership boasts a number of senior associates and masters in influential posts across the guilds.
