Classes of Operants[]
There are 7 operants in total, most of which are necessary in just about all spells. All but one are represented by an element in Prismatic.
Boolean / mathematical[]
Element: Earth. Performs all the number crunching, conditionals, and variable work.
Anchor to / shift[]
Element: Water. Connects stars to a material or to a material somewhere else, thereby moving it.
Create / delete / alter matter[]
Element: Fire. Creative destruction.
Detection / analysis[]
Element: Gold. Keeps the spell informed as to its environment, which in turn determines what it does.
Spell initiator / spell pathway connector[]
Element: Blood. Initiates the spell or a key part of it via a specific "key", or connects spells.
Portal to a secondary inside[]
Element: Air. This allows a spell to portal to a secondary inside (though this type of magic just isn't all that common).
Change in time[]
Not available at time of Chronicle. Because its discovery comes very late in Lorican history, and because it cannot effect the originating reality, it does not show up anywhere in Prismatic.
