Partido Democrata (or Democrat Party in English) is a major political party and the largest political party in Alentilla. It was founded in 1889 by Roman Zapote, the brother of former President Felix Zapote. This political party was used as a replacement of Partido Nacional Revolucionario de Alentilla (also known shortly as Nacion Alentilla).

Early history[]
In 1899, Nacion Alentilla was separeted into three groups: Democrata, Nacional and Revolucionario. The Democrata was established by Roman Zapote (later, he became a President in 1900), the brother of former President Felix Zapote while the Nacional was established by Bruno Natividade, the cousin of former Vice President Alejandro Natividade and the Revolucionario was founded by Antonio del Rey.
