The four sectors of the Milky Way.
For the purposes of easier navigation, the Milky Way has been split into 4 major zones called quadrants, which cut through Sol. These quadrants are further divided into 4 sectors. Each quadrant, despite being very Earth-centric, are used by civilizations across the galaxy, benign or not.
