The Soviet People's Armed Forces is the unified military of the Sino-Soviet Union. The SPAF is made up of five branches; the Soviet People's Army (SPA), Soviet People's Navy (SPN), Soviet People's Air Force (SPAF), Soviet People's Rocket Forces (SPRF), and the Soviet Airborne Troops (SAT). The Premier of the Sino-Soviet Union is the official commander-in-chief and head of the SPAF while also being assisted and overseen by the Soviet Central Military Commission. The Soviet People's Armed Forces has played a major role in shaping the modern geopolitical landscape as the SPAF has being involved in almost all known Cold War era conflicts as well as many modern conflicts in the 21st century, primarily the Afghan Islamic Insurgency and the East African Crisis.
With 6,530,920 active personnel and in 3,010,000 reserve, the Sino-Soviet Union has a grand total of 9,540,920 soldiers in its military making it the largest standing army in the world as well as having the world's largest military budget of $718.4 billion surpassing the $611.2 billion of the United States Armed Forces. Due the large size of the country and the abundance of natural resources as well, the country's military has the most advanced technology and modern military weaponry in modern human history as well as having the second largest number of military bases and having the most sophisticated and professional army in the world.
