The Moon island was a self governing domion of the Mirkuleon empire. It was formed on 12th august 1930 in the twin islands after their war for indepedence.
Historical background
The Spring rising of the 1925
saw the rise in Ulach nationalist milita activies and the unification of the militas under the command of Ian Mac ruaradiah. The Ulach Freedom army was supported by the Ulach mafia through the smuggling of weapons and contraband from Donber. The Ulach Freedom army managed through bombing of Mirkuleon police stations, post offices and military basis managed to as Ian said. "Bring them to the table." The Mirkuleon Cheiftain of the twin islands Admiral Hazarazh met with Ian on 10th august 1930, the two split the twin islands between them, the eastern moon island would be a domion under a human goverment and the western sun island would remain a colony of the Mirkuleon Empire. Hazarazh would still be head of state for both nations but only the head of goverment for the Sun island.

The Sun island remained a large topic of debate and division within the island. A more radical elements within the Ulach Freedom army seperated into the Ulach unification army which caused a civil war in the Sun island. The civil war was ended when the Sun islander army came to defeat the rebels.
