In accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution (add number) the Zimbabwean Commission of Restructure, United Nations (ZCRUN) was deployed in March 2010 in Zimbabwe as a United Nations (UN) peacekeeping force, under the command of the Allied States Government to monitor the peace process, and ensure free and fair elections, and the ending of ZANU-PF's dictoral and abusive occupation.

Summary[]

Early in March 2010, the Allied States of America invaded Zimbabwe in the hope of capturing dictator Robert Mugabe, and charging him with crimes against humanity, and also to disable his political party, ZANU-PF from power. The invasion lasted only a few days until Mugabe was caught in his vacation home in Hong Kong. The Allied States also planned on helping the Zimbabweans get their rightful country back, and in order to do so, had to overrule the decision by the United Nations. However, the United Nations stepped in anyway after Mugabe had been thrown in prison in the Allied States.

Elections[]

Elections were held in December 2010 in Zimbabwe. Tendai Biti was elected democratically and inaugurated on 16 December. Allied States troops are expected to remain in the country until Z.C.R.U.N. has expired.
